The Birgu Local Council would like to introduce the new concept of making use of 100% recyclable bags (bread bags).

Do you still use single-use plastic bags when buying bread? Now you don’t need to! These reusable bread bag are made from 100% recycled plastic to ensure that it will never need to pick up a single-use plastic bag ever again.
These bread bags are designed to carry your delicious bread home in style, waste-free! For added convenience, the bags are also perfect for storing the bread. Storing your bread in these reusable bread bags will help to keep it fresh. This is because even though the material used is plastic, rPET is woven in nature and uses PET as the raw material. This makes recycled plastic material to be breathable, lightweight and hard wearing.
