WHAT will be done

Description:

Our action revolves around the impact waste coming from packaging has on our sea, air and environment.
Throughout this year we will be working on the production of a video for our already audio recorded song called “S.E.A  let’s care and act”, where S stands for Sea, E stands for our Environment and climate change and A stands for altogether.  Students at Salesian school will aid us in the actual filming and editing of this video which will then be put on social media.
Our action for this EWWR week is to take videos of the children singing specific verses from the song, apply information of the impact of pollution to it and provide simple strategies.  For example if the children sing the verses about the sea, they will provide the impact of pollution to it together with one possible strategy a person can adopt in order to preserve our biodiversity.
We will have 3 video clips and each will be streamed online on our Facebook page and that of the Local Council.  The vidoe clips will be shared amongst other people both in Senglea community as well as other local communties.  The idea is to instil more awareness on environmental pollution and motivate people to take possible actions for the environment.
