The idea of the project is to spread the knowledge of recycling and environmental standards among children, who are just at the beginning of learning process. “VIVE Heart for Children Foundation” together with the school publishing house “MAC Education” will visit 10 kindergartens and conduct educational workshops. The goal of meetings with preschoolers will be getting them familiar with such concepts as waste segregation, recycling process and textile recycling. The leader will read a story about two young heroes – Zosia and Janek, who banter about waste containers. After listening to stories and later taking part in play children should remember which color of the bags should be used to throw each type of waste. To better remember the subject, they will receive colouring books at the end of the meeting and will paint the waste containers in the right colour associated with specific waste type.
