Reuse festivity

A big festivity hall will be filled with activities focusing on reuse. There will be market stalls for arts and crafts, second hand shops, workshops with creativity activities for children and adults using reused material. A bicycle repair shop can check your bike and give advise on how to repair it or take simple actions to fix it and your shoes can be checked by a shoe-repairer.
Textile waste reduction is one of the most effective measure to minimize environmental impact. Textile reuse will be promoted by two fashion shows with reused and redesigned clothes. A textile design high school will arrange one of the shows and they will also offer help to redesign clothes. Local NGO:swill arrange clothes change activity as well as an toy exchange activity.
From stage there will be presentations on reuse design by a designer from national television, advises on building conservation, and information about the waste hierarchy.

The aim is to lift the reuse line of business by strengthening the status of redesign among the population. The activity has been planned by an group with representatives from an educational association, the waste management company, an textile design high school and the museum.
