We live  in Valencia, on the East coast of Spain. We work at a Vocational Training School and we teach Technician in Dressmaking and Fashion, Higher Technician in Patternmaking and Fashion together with  Higher Technician in tailored costumes and costumes for shows .

We reduce the energetic and material consumption in our school. We calculate the maximum cost-effectiveness of fabrics.

We reuse clothes, garments, paper for making patterns and buttons from other  pieces of clothing.

We repair suits in general in order to turn old-fashioned styles into trendy gowns.

We also repair machinery and update software for drawing or designing new prototypes.

We recycle items from other models made by the students.

We use sustainable materials as possible and we are concerned about the Environment.

Nowadays, our school is a small town, with 2,200 students, 230 teachers, 5 secretaries, 2 members of maintenance service, 4 caretakers and 20 members of cleaning service. Reducing waste is a must for us. This action is not the first one, but it is spread near all over the school. Apart from this little action, we have two water softener machines to keep water pure and potable for everybody everywhwere inside school.
