Textiljakten is an action to make people aware of textile waste.
The action involves the three municipalities of Trollhättan, Uddevalla and Vänersborg. They make an unified effort to make people aware of how much textiles that is thrown away and how much resources that goes go waste. During three weeks the three municipalities ask their citizens to collect textiles and submit them to specific locations.
The action also involves schoolclasses to make younger people aware of the problem.
The goal is to collect 30 tonnes of textiles during the three weeks.
After collection the textiles are taken care of by Wargön innovation/Björkå Frihet and used for second hand, remake and recycling.

The origin of the action is the project WargoTex Developement that is managed by Wargön Innovation.
