The Bubble NGO organizes an annual festival to promote sustainability and to raise awareness about environmental and humanitarian issues. This year the Bubble did the following actions:

1. We used re-usable water dispensers and sold re-usable aluminium flasks to serve water at the festival this year. This enabled us to save around 9000 one time use water bottles from ending up in the waste fill. Beer and soft drinks are also served from draft machines eliminating completely the one time use containers.

2. All cutlery, plates and glasses used at the festival are bio-degradable and compostable. We use vegware to serve our drinks and food so the operation created only compostable waste.

3. We separated all waste on site and made sure to leave-no-trace on the festival grounds. We had over 100 bins spread strategically on the festival grounds.

4. Most of the decorations and structures we use to build the festival are up-cycled materials we got from the land fill reducing further the impact we have on the environment.
