The kitchen of leftovers
The aim of our educational action is to encourage responsible attitudes in order to promote prudent spending within households as often you acquire more than you actually eat, and to promote the recycling of bio-waste and consumer health protection through healthy diets.We are projected towards the choice of a waste-free lifestyle.Students in Classes 2 G, 2 P, 2 B, 2 D, 2 I and 2 M will deal with an information and awareness phase on invisible waste, they will be guided by the respective cooking teachers and will realize recipes, using food waste or leftovers.Their recipes will be collected in a single recipe book published later on the facebook page of the school and on the school website so that everyone can enjoy it.The “kitchen of leftovers” can be very tasty and decisive to eliminate the waste of food in homes, reducing the amount of organic waste and involving everyone to commit to achieve an ambitious goal, which is to have a “zero waste population”.
