The patch center

An offer for everyone in the city of Gothenburg to get their clothes and textiles fixed for free! Small holes, torn seams or a button that came off – anything that can be fixed in less than 20 minutes by our professional tailors.

The event will take place in Götaverkstan, a permanent workshop in the city library, on Buy nothing day, Friday afternoon 25/11 at 15.00-19.00.

The place will also have information and inspiration about textile waste,  remake-clothes, second hand, Smarta kartan – a Smart map, where you can find more places where you can share, borrow and repair things.

By this we want to encourage people to use their clothes longer instead of throwing them in the bin.

The Patch center is an action and a concrete offer to reduce textile waste and talk about the impact of textlies on the environment!
