Friends of the Earth Malta will be launching an online ‘Plastic Free Pledge’ tool where members of the public can sign up and commit to eliminating plastic from their daily lives. There will be a number of suggested pledges ranging from ‘I pledge to eliminate single use plastic bags’ to the ultimate ‘I pledge to eliminate all single use plastic’. During the European Week for Waste Reduction members of the public can unite, support and encourage others to make a ‘Plastic Free Pledge’ by using our communication channels.

To accompany the Plastic Free Pledge, Friends of the Earth Malta have created a plastic-free resource, filled with information about reducing single-use plastics and using alternatives. This is specifically tailored to the Maltese situation, with tips & tricks from locals and bespoke advice for different groups ie students, young professionals, families etc.
