During the waste reduction week of 17-25.11.2016, the Southern Region administration has provided for the following activities and events:
– on 19.11.2018 at 14.00 in the meeting room of the South region, the mayor of the region together with the environmentalists will find the “European Week of Waste”, which runs under the motto “Detoxification”. Students from Sofia University “Konstantin Velichkov” will present with their presentations their participation in the Erasmus European Project on “Traveling on the Wheels of Nature”
– on 20.11.2016 at 13.15 a workshop will be held at Konstantin Velichkov Sofia University on the subject “Let’s introduce how to reduce waste by an innovative method with the help of Lego constructors”
– 21.11.2016 is planned to visit the Shishmantsi plant, tracing the waste route together with students from the schools in the area.
– A competition for the production of a packaging product on the subject: “Waste comes to life” for schools from the territory of the region, and the participants will be awarded with diplomas from the Mayor of the South region on 23.11.2018.
– The officials of the district administration together with students from Sofia University “St. K.Filisoff “will make the mock-ball on the ground, which will be used with chemicals and fillers, and the map of Bulgaria with the” Together for a Clean World “logo will be placed in front. The project itself will be completed on 23.11.2018. The chemicals and sculptors used will focus on waste treatment and will accentuate our country, which is strongly involved in reducing waste.
