Through the toy collection initiative, it is intended to reduce the amount of toys that are thrown away and to raise awareness of the fact that it is possible to guarantee a second life for these toys and bring happiness to a significant number of children living in an environment poor and needy society; toys, due to the multiplicity of materials that are in their production, cannot be recycled without a “dismemberment” of their components, so that, with this action, all toys that are not in good condition will be subject to a repair caffée, in partnership with a qualified entity, in order to ensure that some of its components are sent for recycling efficiently;
The action will prevent many of the toys from ending up in waste/non-claimable, making other children happy and appealing to the feeling of solidarity, with an expected positive impact on the community.
