Trash on the floor? No!
• WHAT will be done
Description:
One of the projects of the Cultural School Project at our school is “Trash on the floor? No!”. We believe that there is an urgent need for a change in the Global footprint of our students. We want that our students feel that the school is their home and to be aware of how much rubbish sometimes they put in the wrong place.
During this week, teachers are requested to accompany the classes gathering the garbage in the areas intended for each class. At the end, all classes will deliver the garbage collected near the main entrance door, in a box made of pallets.
We want to quantify the garbage and impress them with the result, during this week. After, they will do pieces with the collected garbage.
These actions will be carried out in the classroom context, inserted in the curriculum of the different subjects.
The objective of these actions is to sensitize students to a cleaner Planet.
Short films about “Circular and Sustainable Textiles” will also be screened.
