University of Malta: A Waste-less Community

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

19th November

KSU is working hand in hand with GreenPak by collecting bottle caps in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF). The way the initiative works is basically that, when a considerable amount of bottle caps is accumulated, GreenPak will take them from your premises and recycle them. Any money made from the recycling of such bottle caps will be donated to Istrina. On the 19th of November, KSU will be emphasising the importance of such an initiative in various ways, such as:

– By raising more awareness on social media;
– By having an installation on the premises of the University of Malta to show that students can recycle plastic bottles on one side and recycle the bottle caps on the other side; and,
– By making people aware of the reason why bottle caps should be recycled separately.
