On the 22nd of November, KSU will be having a number of organisations on the University’s quadrangle to promote any initiatives they will be working on throughout the year with regards to recycling, waste management, and the environment in general. KSU will also be promoting the initiatives it will be embarking on throughout the scholastic year, namely the following:

– Reusable water bottles;
– Reusable cups;
– Bringing your own cutlery to KSU events;
– Additional water fountains on campus;
– Rental of reusable plastic cups;
– Campaign on the implementation of an efficient recycling system on campus;
– Clean-up campaign;
– Guidelines for organisations when it comes to organising events in an environmentally friendly manner;
– Recycling of exam scripts and assignments;
– Bottle cap campaign; and,
– Others.

Moreover, KSU will also be organising a mini clean-up on campus with the help of the NGO Zibel.
