What is the Upcycle Challenge 2017?

It’s simple really. We’re challenging you to unearth the creativity within and create something new out of something old…to breathe new life into an item or material that you source – and remember, there are bonus points if you find it on FreeTrade Ireland!

So if you can find something old and renovate it or turn it into something completely different but still usable then we want to see it!

The competition is open to everyone and we have three €1,000 prizes up for grabs, that’s one for EACH of the three waste regions; Southern Region, Eastern-Midlands Region and Connaught-Ulster Region.

New for 2017, we have a created a national category especially for Men’s Sheds, where the best entry from a Men’s sheds group will win €1,000!

The winners will be announced at an event held during EWWR.
