The plan is to hold an upcycling competition and exhibition with the entries. The launch date of the initiative will be 1st November with submission to be accepted until 15th November. The exhibition will be held between the 20th and 28th November at the primary school. Given that the theme is textiles, the submissions would need to be garments / clothes / textiles which are upcycled to create another use for them. This initiative will incorporate all 3 Rs. The aim of this, is to instill a sense of environmental consciousness, especially among the youth. The competition will be open to everyone, including those outside the locality.
