Title: Students and the 3 R’s: Reduce-Reuse-Recycle

The municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni along with the environmental NGO, NoWaste21, is participating in 2021’s European Week for Waste Reduction as part of the municipality’s general actions to raise awareness regarding waste management, separation at source and recycling.

This is a joint action between the Μunicipality and the area’s primary schools, along with an environmental organization, to raise the student’s awareness regarding the basic principles of circular economy.

The students will be asked to create handicrafts regarding Circular Economy and the 3 R’s: Reduce-Reuse-Recycle, following their previous education on these concepts from NoWaste21 in October 2021. The students’ handicrafts will be compiled in a short video and will be promoted through the municipality’s and the NGO’s website and social media platforms in order to increase citizens’ awareness.
