During the European Waste Reduction Week we plan to organise a half day informative event for our students’ families. This action aims to spread information and raise awareness about Waste Management. The event will consist of two parts. The first part will mostly be an informative session about the 3Rs (Recycling, Reducing, Reusing) and Food Waste. It will also present the waste reduction initiatives our Centre is working on as to promote sustainability. The second part aims on encouraging the use of emails as to reduce paper usage. It will consist in helping those present in creating an email account and learning how to use it. By doing so more parents will be willing to join our parents email list as to receive school circulars and notices via email.
