Waste Oscar Awards are to be given to municipallities with low waste production. It is a competition for municipalities that aims to promote municipalities that produce less than 150kg of mixed municipal waste per inhabitant per year. (Awarage mixed waste production in the Czech Republic is about 250kg). We also award and promote municipalities with inspiritative approach to waste management which leads to reduction of waste.
