Actions for Elementary and Primary school pupils:
-Pupils will get information about the necessity of recycling and about how to imrove their recycling practices using all the available facilities.
-Pupilis will be asked to bring at the event their own cup from home, to have a refreshment, and discuss about how to minimise the use of one-use plastic products in their everyday life.
-Pupils will bring at the “exchange spot” their old books and cd’s and will exchange them, in order to get familiar with the practice of reusing.
-Pupils will be asked to bring a small flower pot made of recycled material. In the flower pot they will plant, with our help, a tulip or an hyakinth in soil enreached with compost, made from the organic waste treatment facility of our municipality.They will get information about how compost is made and how to make their own compost.
-Pupils will be asked to participate in a contest. They will make a poster about recycling, reusing and reducing. The best project will be used in the municipality’s web site and in leaflets and posters about waste managment.
– Leaflets with all the information about recycling,reusing,redusing and composting will be distributed to the pupils.

Flower pots filled with soil enreached with compost made from the organic waste treatment facility of our municipality will be distributed in the street market. People will also take a leaflet about how compost is made and how to make their own compost.
Saturday 25 November 2017
Restaurant , coffe shop and super market professionals, will participate in a work shop in order to be informed from the municipality’s employees and the mayor , about the new recycling regulation and the regulations about plastic bag reduction.
They will be asked to make their suggestions on how they can promote the use of reusable packaging products in their business. Finally they will be informed about and asked to participate, in our new project by gathering their food waste in a “brown-bucket”. Municipality will gather the food waste in order to compost it and distribute the final product for free.
