The Ta' Xbiex Local Council will organise a clean-up operation. We will try to collect as many bottles, plastic and other litter from the seafloor in Ta' Xbiex to mark the EWWR. We are in contact with several diving schools to coordinate this operation. We will also be collaborating with the residents in Ta' Xbiex who will be separating the collected waste so that possibly, none of it will end in a black bag. We will also involve the private sector (Marinas and the Yacht clubs) and the local council's contractors who will also help in this cleanup.

Starting from next week, we will also be conducting a door to door campaign regarding recycling. We will also be introducing this action.
