What do you bet? We can?
• WHAT will be done
Description:
It is estimated that a single person can produce about 1.2 kg of waste per day. It doesn’t seem to much – mainly like a packet of sugar – but if you consider how large the global population, which is the total amount?
Approximately 1.3 billion tons of waste are produced globally – same weight of 125 million of African elephants and 1.300 billion of packets of sugar.
What can we do about it? To find a solution join us for a full week event!
On Saturday 17th November we are organizing a clean-up around the Aquarium area.
During the weekedays we’re going to have special activities for school students based on the Thematic Focus: Hazardous Waste Prevention. If you are a teacher and you want your students participating in, book your school trip during this week!
Moreover, our daily visitors can be involved in a “Waste Reduction” thematic tour whilst exploring our underwater world.
