Description:
To begin recycling of food waste campaign and investigate the impact of this on our school waste for landfill. Each class will be provided with food caddies. The Eco Team will develop food waste rules for the bins. A Food waste superhero competition will be run to advertise the beginning of food waste recycling.
The children will monitor the amount of waste in classes before and after the beginning of food recycling.
With the aid of Water NI, the children will be encouraged to only use reusable bottles in school.
Eco team will create a video for SLT to encourage the banning of plastic straws in school.
