1. we will enhance the awareness about the Reuse Centre that has just opened in Gozo where you can take your unwanted items still in good condition. Children will be asked to bring these to the school, and the items will then be taken to the Reuse Centre.
2. We will try to suggest that unwanted textiles will be collected once a month just like glass. A WasteServ representative will also be invited to give an educational talk to the students.
3. During our green assemblies will organise quizzes and discussion among our students to acquire more knowledge, particularly focues on this yuear’s EWWR theme.
4. We will plant new trees to help the environment using miulk cartons containers to reuse and reduce, separate waste properly rather than put everything in the black rubbish bag. An ongoing study as part of the GLOBE program (which our school is participating in), will be done in conjuction with the planting of trees for the EWWR.
