Queen’s Accommodation will be encouraging our students to “write for the planet” which is inspired by the recent publication of Belfast Climate Commission Youth Working Group Youth Survey which found that 41% of students had experienced climate anxiety, however on a more positive note 88% of young people thought something could be done to reduce the negative effects of climate change.

Over European Week of Waste Reduction our students will be using reused scrap pieces of cardboard and paper to write their thoughts and feelings about climate change, waste reduction, sustainability etc. which will then be displayed in an art installation across our three coffee bar sites.
