IT: Ha preso il via a Zafferana Etnea nel mese di Ottobre e si protrarrà fino a fine anno. Il progetto sperimentale “Zafferana Si Differenzia” presentato dalla società Consultenergy in collaborazione con il Comune di Zafferana ed il Comitato Organizzatore dell’Ottobrata Zafferanese.
Il progetto mira ad intercettare la massa di rifiuti prodotti durante la manifestazione enogastronomica dalle migliaia di visitatori dell’Ottobrata Zafferanese, sottraendo la plastica e l’alluminio dal conferimento in discarica.
La cittadina etnea presenta già un tasso elevato di raccolta differenziata per abitante. Dato questo che adesso si intende migliorare ulteriormente intercettando il flusso di rifiuti prodotti durante le numerose manifestazioni che si susseguono nei diversi periodi dell’anno; Favorendo così la sensibilità ed il rispetto per l’ambiente anche da parte dei non residenti nel territorio.
Il progetto vede la partecipazione anche l’Istituto Comprensivo Statale “Federico de Roberto” del Comune Etneo che aderisce con alcune classi alla SERR 2017; Attraverso la realizzazione di lavori che valorizzino dal punto di vista artistico l’uso di materiali riciclati raccolti dal compattatore durante il periodo dell’Ottobrata.
Con l’intento primario di favorire una maggiore sensibilità alla riduzione, differenziazione e riutilizzo dei rifiuti.
