Zero leftovers! –campaign challenges primary school students to reduce the amount of food leftovers. All 170 primary schools at the area receive campaign materials instructing students how to reduce the amount of leftover food, and why this is important.

Materials include a measurement form for statistic purposes. The cooking staff fills the form during the week. Form includes questions “What was for lunch at the school today?” “Amount of organic waste” and “The number of eaters”. After the campaign week the forms are returned and the results analyzed.

One selected school participating in the campaign will be awarded with a theater performance visiting at the school.
