1. The week before implementation, the EkoSkola committee will tell the rest of the school what we will be doing and why.

2. All learners and staff are invited to bring a waste free lunch to school (reusable lunch box, water flask instead of plastic bottle, cloth napkins, reusable cutlery, no food waste so they have to plan how much they will be eating and not throw away any food, snacks which are not individually wrapped but things such as apples instead…) All class teachers will monitor who got a zero waste lunch to school and fill in their names on a sheet provided.

3. All winners will be awarded during assembly and their photos posted on the school website.

4. Throughout the year EkoSkola committee will continue to encourage children to continue bringing a zero waste lunch.
