Within the scope of the Zero Waste Project, Karabük Municipality, which aims to control wastes and leave a cleaner and livable world to future generations and continues its activities in this regard, Waste Collection Center units and recycling units have been installed. Thus, electrical and electronic equipment, paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, glass, textile wastes and herbal wastes will be classified separately, collected and recycled.

After the recycling units placed in the social life centers and neighborhoods by the Karabük Municipality, recycling units were distributed to the schools within the provincial borders.

With this project, we can prevent environmental pollution and increase in the use of natural resources, which are among the biggest problems of the world. By utilizing our wastes, we can ensure sustainable development and convert them into production. In this way, the collected wastes will be processed and transformed into new products. In this way, economic gain will be achieved. With the Zero Waste project, a more livable environment and a stronger economy is aimed by the separation of wastes at their source and recycling.
