A country can be the strongest and the best in every field only if it provides a good education to everyone without distinction between men and women. The development of nations is parallel to the education level of women. Those who educate women educate the generations, because it is our women who educate the generations. For this reason, we have many course centers that provide free training for our women as local administrations. To begin with, we will start to provide training within the scope of Zero Waste at Home Program in our course centers, which are Women’s Activity Course Center, Evka-1 Women’s District Center, Çamlıkule Ceren Özdemir District Center. We had to postpone the Zero Waste at Home Program, which we created within the scope of our Sustainable Zero Waste Awareness Project in Buca, due to Covid-19. However, after participating in the Waste Reduction Week, we wanted to bring this important issue back to the agenda. Because it is our women who make the reduction possible in the source and educate future generations on these issues.

First of all, our trainers working in our course centers will be trained by the Environmental Engineer, who works in our institution, on the subject of Zero Waste. Due to Covid-19, it is planned to be carried out online via the zoom application. It is planned that our teachers will brief the female trainees on the subject in line with the practices in the “Zero Waste at Home Program” that we shared on the link. An application preferred by our teachers will be implemented during the day. The applied training video will be shared on our social media accounts and will be shared for our women who do not have a trainee registration.

In addition, we decided to re-implement our motif works with our female trainees, within the scope of waste reduction week, in order to spread the awareness of zero waste to the city.
