Every year in Malta, each town and village, celebrates a festive feast celebrating one or more patron saints of said towns. Most of these feasts have rivalries which contribute to celebrations and spending of non-recyclable material. Therefore, the Kummissjoni Zghazagh Guzeppini Hamrun (KZG) took the initiative to create a 3D Church structure made of only recycled PVC pipes and bio-degradable balloons, that have been collected throughout the years. After the use of the structure the KZG took the responsibility to clean up all that was used and stored back at the band club to be reused once again the following year. Each balloon was also collected and popped as to limit any loose plastic. With this idea the KZG managed to not only limit the budget to be used in the festivities but also  reducing the adverse impact on the environment, create a celebrative environment without the use of excessive use of plastic and move towards a greener, environment friendly type of rivalry celebrations.
