As a school, the students bring in envelopes with money to pay for fees, outings, tickets etc… We decided to stop this waste of paper by asking all students to get a small button folder (purse size) labelled with their name. As from the 27th of November 2017, the students will not be using envelopes to get their money in but will be using and reusing their folders. These folders will be kept by the students till the end of their schooling (Form 5) thus, considerably avoiding paper waste. It is estimated that each student used to get approximately five envelopes each scholastic term. Therefore each student will be saving the waste of 15 envelopes per year.
