The project integrated the components of Environmental Education and Research and Development, focusing on the development of cultivation kits created from post-consumer textile waste, educational actions, training, and awareness-raising in schools, the mapping of local products to create an accessible database for merchants, hospitality, and the community, and the assessment of the chemical safety of food produced in school and/or community gardens. The public presentation promotes increased awareness among the population regarding resource waste, specifically textile waste, encouraging circular economy and local consumption with all the impacts it has on the consumption chain.
